About Spiritualism

A path of light, truth, and connection to the Divine

What is Spiritualism?

Spiritualism is the Science, Philosophy, and Religion of continuous life, based upon the demonstrated fact of communication, by means of mediumship, with those who live in the Spirit World. We believe in one Divine Source that loves us and works with us to provide our spiritual progression on the Earth plane.

Spiritualism is a Religion

It strives to understand and to comply with the Physical, Mental and Spiritual Laws of Nature, which are the laws of God.

Spiritualism is a Science

It investigates, analyzes and classifies facts and manifestations demonstrated from the spirit side of life.

Spiritualism Is a Philosophy

It studies the Natural Law and bases its conclusions upon present observed facts.

The Heart of Spiritualism

The Progressive Spiritualist Church is a welcoming community rooted in the principles of Spiritualism. Becoming a member means joining a family of like-minded seekers and your support helps keep our doors open to all who seek the light.

Communication With Spirit

Spiritualists believe that those in the spirit world can and do communicate after they have made the change called death. Through mediumship, we can connect with loved ones, spiritual guides, and spiritual teachers on the other side. We can be comforted by talking to our loved ones, helped by advice from our guides, and taught important life lessons by our teachers.

A Way of Living

Spiritualism is much more than communication with those in the spirit world. It is a way of living to the fullest extent possible through an understanding of Natural Law. We believe in one Divine Source that loves us and works with us to provide our spiritual progression, both on the earth plane and in the spirit world.
